"Agonizing."

That's what Dave over at maizenbrew.com is calling the next 17 days. That's the length of time between today and the start of the college football season.

Dave has coined this waiting period the "Danger Zone," and is getting his football fix by watching Indiana practice highlights on the Big Ten Network.

(Based on his post, we suspect he's also spending too much time listening to Kenny Loggins' greatest hits).

Oh, and Dave has also put together a nice list of his Top 10 Michigan freshmen and unknown players. It's a good entry that should whet Wolverines' fans appetite. He's got numbers 6 to 10 up right now, and we're eagerly awaiting the rest.

Tip: We especially liked No. 6, a comparison between tight end Kevin Koger and his predecessor at the position.
