Left-handed pitcher Nate Robertson is headed to the Florida Marlins, which means lefty Dontrelle Willis is part of the Detroit Tigers starting rotation, MLive.com reports.

“It’s a blessing making this team,” Willis said. “God is good, and that is all I can say. Everybody’s happy for me, and that means a lot.

“It’s good to break camp with the team. This club is going to do a lot of damage, and I plan on contributing. I believe in my stuff, and the guys behind me.”

The Tigers received minor leaguer relief pitcher Jay Voss from the Marlins in exchange for Robertson, who was 51-69 with Detroit.
