High School Roundup: Saline swimming, Chelsea wrestling among Saturday's top performers

The Saline High School boys swimming team finished first in all but one event to easily win the team title at Saturday's Eastern Michigan Classic Relays.

"The big thing today was making sure we got all of our state relays qualified and out of the way," Saline coach Todd Brunty said. "We showed our strength, which is our depth."

Saline's nine relay wins earned 149 team points, ahead of second-place St. Johns (115) and third-place Salem (102). Dexter was sixth with 77 points. (Rest of the story | Saline results)

WRESTLING Monroe St. Mary Invitational: Chelsea had six undefeated wrestlers and won the tournament with a 5-0 record, despite missing several starters. (Story | Local results)

Bridgeport Invitational: Ypsilanti came within one bout of winning a team title, but settled for a 4-1 record and second-place finish. (Story | Results)
