Despite the lopsided victories all around the Big Ten, there were lessons ESPN.com Big Ten blogger Adam Rittenberg learned.

Such as, "Tate Forcier can help Michigan win," Rittenberg lists as one of his five lessons.

Wrote Rittenberg, "He moved Michigan's offense up and down the field after starting quarterback Denard Robinson went down with an injury, and Forcier might have established himself as the Wolverines' No. 2 signal caller."

81wolverine, It is clear that Tate is the best option but I doubt he will move out of the numer 3 spot.

My feeling after watching both backup QB's on Saturday is that Tate would be our best guy to bring in if we need him. As good as an athlete and prospect Devin is, he still is a freshman and learning. Long-term, I think he's going to be our #1 or #2 guy - hard to say the way Denard's playing. But for now, I feel pretty comfortable if we had to go with Tate.

I totally agree, last year we were excited, then boom, the sky fell in. However, the team seems to be playing as indivisual stars. I hope that Denard Robinson can play that will be big difference. The defense seems much better. Th team needs to be low keyed, play hard, play consistent, protect your quarterback, stop the foolish penalties, an win. They have so far. Go Blue!
