To UofMbeWorser, I feel that you make some valid points, but in response I feel that with today atmosphere that U of M needs to be better than we are now. If you look at the Big Ten as a conference there are really no teams that run the spread that have been in conference or national title hunts within the last 10 years. If I as a fan can tell you that 80% of the time Michigan is going to run to the short side of the field, by the way eliminating the speed avantage of our players, what do you think a head coach or team that watches video all week long can do. Michigan has lost the down the field pass and the 4 yard guaranteed run. We now see 3 and 5+ then we throw the bubble screen and hope the receiver makes the play. Now my question is, if this is the OC fault or if this is it? Then on the defensive side. Why is it that when we have a 3rd and long, we send an all out blitz. The D is not getting to the QB, and we only have one corner good enough for man to man over 4 seconds. Some say this is all a matter of the age of the team. I disagree. This is not good play calling. I have heard rumors of a candidate to replace RR. Jim Harbough is his name. I was skeptical at first, but after looking up what he has done with Stanford and his other coaching stop, I am fully on board with this. What really broke the camels back for me was that RR said he can't fix the issues that we are having. Isn't that what a coach is hired to due? Anyway that is two cents of a Michigan fan of 20+ years.

The week before last I was mad at RR for his coaching or lack of, in losing to Penn St. Last week I was mad at RR for the awful performance Blue displayed at the Illini Game. Yesterday, I was again an immature old man with a sour look on my face as I slumped in my favorite chair watching the demise of my most favorite team in all of sports. But then...I watched the behavior of Danny Hope when he approached RR on the field for the customary handshake after the game. I said to my wife, "What the heck is Purdue's coach bringing a player out to the handshake for?" I now understand what I was watching. Purdue's coach Danny Hope reminded me of the feeling I had when I observed Woody Hayes slug the Michigan player along the sidelines. The Big Ten and The NCAA should focus on the behavior of Purdue's coach. Coach Danny Hope's conduct is worthy of a game or more suspension for him. Such behavior by a coach can not be tolerated. Coach Hope must be suspended.

Coach Rod, to his credit, is a likeable guy who doesn't dodge a question. However, his inability to respond in a cogent matter to many of the questions he tackles does not reflect well upon him. He is probably unaccustomed to the level of questioning that he receives as coach at Michigan, on his way to his second losing season for a team whose press and fans have long forgotten what losing at this level is like. He needs to develop a stronger "podium presence" and avoid questions that put him, and therefore his team, in a negative light.

Correct, i have never coached, But i have played. The Questions were all Gimmies, easy questions with easy answers, but the answer to all the questions were 'Poor coaching' 'Poor Execution' 'My guys are too little and get tired' 'My guys hate me' Thats why he deferred after every question, thats why he will continue to deffer. I know he saw allot more after the Delaware game, he could tell you about every play and every player in that press conference.

I can tell you have never coached. The worst seat in the house is on the field. That is why you have coaches in the press box

Was this guy actually at the game? I mean the guy behind the podium, because he didnt see ANYTHING and needs to go watch film before he answers even the simplest question. Have any of you noticed that Rodriguez doesent know anything, He doesnt see anything, He doesnt read anything, he doesnt hear anything?

That's right, it was the freshmen's fault on the OS kick. RRod says they talk about it, but do they practice suprise OS kick coverage? Because if they don't practice it, talking about it means absolutetly nothing.
