"When do you need to slim that down to, even, 2 quarterbacks?" This translates to : "When do you get Nick Sheridan's sorry ass out of the mix because we all know he has no business competing for the job to begin with?" "If one of them starts to digress, or not play as well, and whether it's in the games or practice... and then, then you can adjust accordingly." Translation : "At the first sign of Nick Sheridan making a complete ass of himself and my horrendous decision to play him is evident, then I'll sit him on the bench where he belongs."
