Results from the final day of the 52nd annual Washtenaw Interclub Swim Conference championships

The Huron Valley Swim Club put the final touches on another first place finish at the 52nd Annual Washtenaw Interclub Conference championships on Thursday.

Huron Valley -- which finished the four day event with 4,086.50 points, more than second place Travis Pointe Country Club (2,211.50) and third place Ann Arbor Country Club (1,782) combined -- had a performance in the boys 11-12-year-old swimming competition reflective of the meet as a whole, winning four of eight events.

In the boys 11-12-year-old division, Huron Valley won both the 200-yard medley relay (Wilson Noll, Matt McCormack, Adam Hau, Samuel Jyawook; 1:59.07) and the 200 freestyle Relay (1:47.17). Huron Valley's Samuel Jyawook won the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle.

On the girls side, Milan Swim Club had a strong showing, winning the 100 medley relay (Karlee Marsh, Madison Luther, Lizzy Spears, Madelyn Cislo; 2:06.95) 50 butterfly (Lizzy Spears; 28.04), 100 freestyle (Spears; 55.66) and the 200 freestyle relay (Madelyn Cislo, Emma Frame, Karlee Marsh, Lizzy Spears; 1:49.98).

In the 9-10-year-old diving competition at Georgetown Country Club, Jay Lang of Ann Arbor Country Club took home gold in the boys competition and Paige Sundermann of Huron Valley won the girls competition.
