Team scores were tallied after Day 2 of the Washtenaw Interclub Swim Conference championships and the always strong Huron Valley Swim Club is, like always, sitting safely atop the leaderboard.

With two days of swimming and diving in the books, Huron Valley has tallied 2,417 points, nearly as much the next closest teams -- Travis Pointe Country Club (1,303.50) and Ann Arbor Country Club (1,189) -- combined.

After the high school aged competitors battled on Monday it was the 9-10-year-old swimmers' turn in the pool at Skyline High School on Tuesday with Sophia Morelock of Milan Swim Club and Ben Keith of Huron Valley shining the brightest, with four first place finishes apiece.

Morelock took individual firsts in the 100-yard freestyle (1:06.36) and 50 backstroke (33.52) and swam the first leg of Milan's first place 200 freestyle (2:12.28) and 100 medley (1:07.55) relay teams.

Keith won the 100 individual medley (1:20.06) and 50 backstroke (37.81) and swam on Huron Valley's first place 200 freestyle (2:05.00) and 100 medley (1:07.29) relay teams. Keith's teammate, Drew Sachs, also participated in both relay victories and won the 50 butterfly (33.74). Sachs' only non-first place finish came in the 100 IM where he took second behind Keith.

Day 2 of diving took place at Chippewa Club where Jacob Simon of Racquet Club of Ann Arbor won the boys 11-12-year-old division with a score of 208.90 and Camryn McPherson of Travis Pointe Country Club won the girls division with a score of 185.05.
