I think because like last year, we started with a rookie QB. So the same goes for this year. I think now on a third year, a 6 and 6 is unacceptable, it will have to be a 9 and 3 year, with a win over MSU,ND, AND OHIO. wE SHOULD BE LOOKING AT A BOWL GAME BY THE 8TH OR 9TH WEEK. NOT HOPING ON OUR LAST GAME. FUTHER MORE, RR WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HIRED IF HE DIDNOT SHOW A GOOD TRACK RECORD OF WINNING. he still has to recruit, I feel we will be alot better next year, we should be 6-0 to start, and who knows after that. but I hope their is no Charlie Weis syndrome where we keep RR for 6 years, and have a subpar team. TRUE GO BLUE, WE NEED TO KEEP OUR HEAD'S HIGH. BECAUSE WHEN WE ARE FULLY TALENTED, MICHIGAN WILL CRUSH EVERYBODY. GO BLUE BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

azwolverine. I repect that man. I also agree that the players lost this game, without a doubt. However I feel more for the Mprogram than I do about Big Rod. Soory dude. But again I can respect your position. Let us not forget we have only won 4 games this season. Good Man dude, you are better than I.

Wondering, I'm not saying he SHOULD stay. In my opinion, he should not. As I said, I think he's to blame for Michigan's freefall. My point is simply that I don't feel like he lost THIS game. I would love to see Harbaugh or Miles (especially Miles) come here. Do I believe RR will ultimately succeed at a high level here? No. For some odd reason, though, I just feel bad piling on him today when: A) the team actually fought to the end for once and B) he already looks like the earth is caving in around him without added input from me.

azwolverine-you have more than I can give. I do not have the faith. while the players lost the game, that the same coach should stay. I just don't. What if we got great talent next year same coach same results then arent we at fault not pressing the issue on Big Rod to leave. Is he concerned about his reputation? What about the M programs reputation. Sorry not a believer. They will have to WIN more eight or more for me to believe. Sorry. I am a disgusted and ashamed Mfan and alum. Tragic.

I'm not going to pile on RR or Tate. Tate made some bungles, as did John Navarre his first game against OSU. As I recall, whether fans like him or not, Navarre recovered to have a very good career at Michigan. Also, while I blame most of Michigan's freefall on RR, I don't blame this loss on him. Michigan fought hard and could have won if not for the 5 turnovers. That said, it leaves me to wonder where this fight was all year against the Illinois' and Purdues of the world. Michigan, imo, has far more talent than they are given credit for, they have just lacked the passion to gut it out to the end like they did today. Should RR be fired? That's not for me to say, although there certainly are some appealing alternatives out there. If he does stay, though, I think Greg Robinson should be back with him for continuity's sake but with some new position coaches, especially in the secondary, on the defense. At this point if RR wants any chance at success here, he's going to need to go outside his buddy position coaches and hire some real talent. Any player that comes to Michigan has the potential, given proper coaching, to be outstanding.

With Mike Barwis as our Strength and Conditioning Coach it is a different ballgame in the second half.

So, who exactly pays for the jets to fly over the stadium on game days?
