NFL lockout keeps ex-Ypsilanti resident and free agent Kris Jenkins on hold
Defensive tackle and former Ypsilanti resident Kris Jenkins is 31 years old and has been an NFL free agent since the New York Jets cut him in February.
The NFL lockout is in its second month, and Jenkins has to wait for a new labor agreement to be in place before he can try to land with a team. He told the New York Times that his knee is healthy and he's lost 20 pounds.
“I guess the owners, they need their time to be greedy,” Jenkins said. “I’ve never seen a billionaire complain about not having enough money. But it’s cool. Usually, this time of year, you’re listening to a strength coach scream at you. In some ways, the lockout has been a blessing in disguise.”

I guess it's all relative, as a under one hunredethousandaire (total) I can't imagine a millionaire complaining about not having enough money.
