It’s not all football during Michigan-Ohio State week.

Yes, the Michigan football team will play host to Ohio State at noon on Saturday at Michigan Stadium (ABC-TV). Before kickoff, here are ways you can get in the mood for the game.

Tuesday: A car bash at the Sigma Chi fraternity, 548 S. State St. from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will raise funds for C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

Wednesday: Former Michigan football players Jm Brandstatter, Fritz Sayferth, Jim Betts, Tom Dixon, John Wangler, Jamie Morris, Ali Haji-Sheikh and others will sign bottles of the Bo Schembechler Heart of a Champion wine at Colasanti’s Market from 5-8 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center.

Thursday: A pizza-eating contest featuring Michigan fraternities, sororities, athletes and student organizations at 1 p.m. on the University of Michigan Diag.

Friday: A pep rally for the game at 7 p.m. on the Diag.

Any day before the game: Bongotones is encouraging Michigan football fans to try a free download of "The Victors" for their cell phone, then play the ringtone just before halftime. For the free download, go to the Bongotones Web site.
