Michigan hockey team names captains for 2012-13 season

Treais, a senior from Bloomfield Hills, was named the 83rd captain in program history after posting 32 points (15 goals, 17 assists) in 40 games during his junior season. The 5-foot-8-inch, 178-pound forward set new career highs in points, goals, assists, plus/minus rating (plus-24), power-play goals (3) and game-winning goals (4).
Moffie and Bennett were named alternate captains. Moffie recorded 32 points (seven goals, 25 assists) in 41 games as a junior, setting new career marks in points, goals and assists. He led the team in assists and ranked third overall and first among defensemen in points.
Bennett notched 21 points (four goals, 17 assists) during his sophomore season. He ranked second among defensemen in points, assists and plus/minus rating (plus-16).
