Michigan hockey team is No. 2 seed in NCAA West, will face Nebraska-Omaha
Next stop for the Michigan hockey team: St. Louis, Mo.
Michigan, 26-10-4, is part of the NCAA hockey tournament for a record 21st consecutive season and will open play Friday at 5:30 p.m. in West Regional action against Nebraska-Omaha (21-15-2).
Michigan is the No. 2 seed in the regional. Defending national champion Boston College (30-7-1) is the No 1 seed and will face Colorado College (22-18-3) at 9 p.m. Friday. The regional final will be played at 9 p.m. Saturday (ESPNU).
