By Lon Horwedel
Red Berenson, in his 27th season as coach of the Michigan hockey program, skated Thursday on the ice at Michigan Stadium as workers prepare for a week of games that lead up to the Big Chill at the Big House game on Dec. 11 when Michigan State faces Michigan at 3 p.m.

I'm flying in from Seattle to see this game with my brother. Did the same in 2001 for The Cold War. Can't wait!!

I don't think that people up high care. Maybe they are going just to go. Maybe they are using this thing called a VCR and when they get home they re-watch the game. That's what I am doing. I love hockey so I could care less where I sit.

Still missing the important picture to show us the proper perspective. I want to see the typical fan view of the ice from the seats, or even from the press box / suites. Is your photographer too lazy to climb up the big house steps, or what?
