Michigan football has shot at Ohio DE prospect Tom Strobel; Investigation finds 204 football players with criminal records and more links
Ohio defensive end prospect Tom Strobel, a junior who stands 6-foot-6, 240 pounds, has been raking in offers from college football programs across the country, including Michigan and Michigan State.
Both state programs have a shot at Strobel, according to Sam Webb in an article for the Detroit News.
Webb notes that Strobel also received an offer from Ohio State earlier this week.
"I'm not favoring Ohio State, and I'm not saying I'm going to go there, but it means a lot," said Strobel.

Well isn't it refreshing seeing Michigan going head to head against OSU & ND. In the state of Ohio it kinda takes you back to the good ole days of Bo, Mo & Lloyd building up where it matters. Well I expect we will continue to see more of this activity and the "Vest" won't walk w/ the best talent coming out of Ohio. The message has been sent that UM is going to recruit the Midwest like the days of old.

This Strobel kid could be very valuable - imagine a 6'-6" kid on DE with the quickness his video shows. MICHIGAN - work on getting this kid here...11-2 with a BCS berth this year outta do it ! The likes of Strobel we've already seen, His height and speed proves to be very keen.... He could compare with another known ohio recruit, Awards and dignity, Heisman and Crystal Football to boot.....

Josh Groban should give Coach Rich Rod and family front seats for free in his concert as RR regarded his songs as the his way to save his job! lol!

The incomparable and effervescent Theo212, So you already bought both of these front row tix for your "king" and yourself. Maybe you can show Groban how to do his lyrics the "king" way. "There Is No Escape from Whatshisname" by Josh Groban.

Great investigative work, D21. There's hope for you yet! Now, on to the task at hand. Namely, our theme for the Spring practice season. And awwwaaaaaayyyyyy we go....!!!! Birds are singing, Spring is springing; We are Hokeing when we should be Kinging. Yet we'll watch The Hoke, we'll watch him closely; We want not Citrus, nor Sugar, nor Rose-ly. Yes we want Crystal, for times have changed; We are not psycho, we're not deranged. We want it all, we want the title; To grasp the Crystal, speed is vital. So listen up Hoke, and Borges too; Scrap the slowness. Go Maize. Go Blue! CoB!

The next Whatshisname sighting in Michigan is due at the Palace in Auburn Hills on July 16th when he plans to watch his favorite singer from the front row (at $325 a pop). http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0800465C89DC3C92?artistid=847840&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1
