Michigan baseball, softball win in dramatic fashion and more Sunday results
Haylie Wagner led off the top of the 10th inning with a home run and Bree Evans added an RBI single to lead the Michigan softball team to a 5-3 extra-inning win at Minnesota on Sunday.
Wagner pitched all 10 innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits and five walks with seven strikeouts.
Two of those hits came in the first inning, when the Golden Gophers took a 3-0 lead on a Kari Dorie three-run home run.
The Wolverines (32-13, 12-3 Big Ten) tied the game with three runs in the third. Amy Knapp, Lauren Sweet and Lindsay Doyle each drove in runs in the inning. (Boxscore)

Michigan 5, Northwestern 4: John DiLaura single to center field scored Dylan Delaney in the bottom of the ninth inning at Ray Fisher Stadium. Brett Winger went 2-for-4, including a three-run home run in the Wolverines' four-run third inning. Kevin Vangheluwe earned the win with one-third inning of relief. Ball State 5, Eastern Michigan 4 (10 inn.): The Eagles broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the top of the 10th inning, but Ball State answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning for a MAC win. Daniel Russel had a bases-loaded triple in the sixth inning for EMU. (Details)
