Martavious Odoms out for Purdue game
Wide receiver Martavious Odoms will miss Michigan's game Saturday against Purdue.
Odoms sprained his knee in Michigan's loss to Penn State two weeks ago and did not play last week against Illinois. He leads Michigan with 22 catches and 272 yards receiving.
Roy Roundtree is expected to start in Odoms' place.
Backup defensive tackle Greg Banks was listed as questionable on Michigan's official injury report released Thursday. Running backs Brandon Minor (high ankle sprain) and Carlos Brown (knee tendinitis) were not listed.
Michigan also announced its game captains for Saturday: linebacker Stevie Brown, defensive end Tim North, left tackle Mark Ortmann and slot receiver Ricky Reyes.
The Wolverines (5-4, 1-4) need one win to become bowl eligible with three games to play.
Purdue is 3-6, 2-3.

Unfortunately just Being Michigan isnt enough anymore. J.C. i mean i know injuries are a part of football, but our team is like a rolling MASH unit. I thought we were supposed to have the upper hand when it came to injury avoidance. i thought Barwis and the most expensive weight room in the nation was supposed to have these kids in tip top playing condition. or is 2 years not enough time for that either?

Oh no, now we have no chance. Without him, we are helpless against a 3-6 team with a first year coach...at our house. Please, no excuses. Just WIN. Battle adversity and GET IT DONE...we are Michigan! Go Blue!
