The captions for photos in slideshows are contained in the slideshow. There are multiple ways to view them: 1. If you click on the image in the main content area of the slideshow, that photo's page will open in a new window, where you can read the caption, see all the sizes available, etc. 2. If you'd like to see the captions while watching the slideshow, move your mouse anywhere on the bottom of the slideshow to reveal the thumbnails and controls. Click the button the furthest to the right (the one with arrows pointing outward from each corner) to view the slideshow in full-screen mode. Once in full-screen mode, click the "show info" link in the top right corner. 3. If you'd like to see many of these photos along with their captions on a single page, click the Flickr icon in the top left corner, which will open the corresponding set of photos in a new window. Then in the new window, click the "detail" link in the upper left, under the name of the photo set. This may sound complicated just reading these instructions, but Flickr is very user-friendly if you explore its features. Also, our next major upgrade will include more functionality related to slideshows. Meanwhile, feel free to email me at chrystacherrie@annarbor.com if you have questions about Flickr.

Captions? That is a general comment. Throughout AnnArbor.com there tend to be uncaptioned photos.
