Horse-ing around at Big Ten media day
Rich Rodriguez walked into the ballroom at the Hyatt Regency for the start of Big Ten media day Tuesday and gave Penn State linebacker Sean Lee a hug.
"Great player," Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez actually recruited Lee when he was still at West Virginia in 2004. One time, on a visit to Lee's high school, Rodriguez challenged the linebacker to a game of H-O-R-S-E.
“I can’t remember if he let me win," Rodriguez said. "I know my mindset was I was going to let him win, but he was so competitive he wasn’t going to let me win nothing. I don’t remember."
Back after missing all of last season with a knee injury, Lee is one of the best linebackers in the Big Ten.
"He’s the type of guy that you could build a defense around, so everybody wants one of those," Rodriguez said.

Rich Rod needs to keep his sense of humor after last year and this upcoming season. Improved yes, but still won't be up to Michigan standards. How much time will the fans give him until Les Miles is made an offer he can't refuse?

With a good coach (no, I mean GREAT coach) like RR, there's no reason we can't win 10-12 games this year!!! Go Blue! PS MSU will go 3-9 this season, and will be much worse than that in seasons to follow.
