The Dexter girls’ game at Huron Tuesday has been voted our AnnArbor.com Game of the Week for Feb. 5-8. It received more than 300 votes, 42 percent of our total.
That means the focus of our coverage next week will be on what promises to be a highly competitive game. Both teams are in sole possession of first place in their respective SEC divisions -- Dexter at 8-0 in the SEC White and Huron at 7-1 in the SEC Red. The two teams are also No. 1 and No. 4, respectively, in our most recent AnnArbor.com Power Rankings.
Tipoff is at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The Dexter-Huron girls game beat out five other choices for this week’s honors, including a showdown between the Pioneer boys and Ypsilanti -- the teams with the two top spots in our boys power rankings -- and Friday’s Pioneer-Huron showdowns on both the boys and the girls sides.
