associated Press: Saline moves up two spots, Milan stays put in football state rankings

The Milan High School football team improved to 8-0 over the weekend to win the Huron League championship. The Saline High School football team improved to 7-1 and secured a share of the Southeastern Conference Red Division championship.

The wins didn't do anything to change how the Associated Press voters view either team.

Saline received two votes in the latest sate rankings poll and Milan received 21. While Saline didn't gain any points a couple of other teams fell out of favor with the voters and the Hornets moved up from the 15th ranked team in Division 1 to No. 13. Milan stayed put as the No. 7 team in Division 3.

Teams receive 10 points for a first-place vote, nine for second, etc. from a ten-person statewide panel.
