Pioneer's seniors shine on their night, Skyline's streak is snapped and more Tuesday results
Three seniors scored double-digit points for the Pioneer boys basketball team in its 69-60 win Tuesday at home against Temperance Bedford on senior night.
Seniors Anthony Hugan and James Kelly scored 12 points apiece, and Nick Mrjoian had 11. But junior Jimmy Holman led the Pioneers in scoring with 14.
"We had 10 seniors, and they all got to play the first, which was great because we had a pretty big first quarter," Pioneer coach Rex Stanczak said.
Pioneer (14-5, 11-4 SEC Red) led 22-17 after the first frame and 39-30 at half.
