Pioneer and Huron occupy most spots on high school field hockey all star team
The Michigan High School Field Hockey Association state finals was an all-Ann Arbor affair this season, as it has been for the past three, with Huron finally ending Pioneer's run of five straight titles.
So it should be no surprise that the two powerhouse programs occupy the most spots on the recently-released MHSFHA All-Star teams.
AnnArbor.com Player of The Year Kelsey Gradwohl and her Huron teammates Anna Masini and Taylor Standiford were on the Division I All-Star Team, as were Pioneer's Emy Guttman and Sydney Supica. Huron's Lexi Collins and Pioneer's Eliza Stein were honorable mention.
Players from Skyline, Saline, Greenhills, the Washtenaw Whippets and Dexter were represented in Divisions II-IV.
