Milan native Adrienne Kanitz named Concordia's Athlete of the Month

Former Milan High School volleyball player Adrienne Kanitz has been named Concordia's Athlete of the Month for August, the university announced on Tuesday.

Kanitz, a junior setter, recorded 361 assists, 75 digs, 13 aces and 12 blocks during the month. She was named to the all-tournament team for Concordia's Kick-Off Classic. Concordia went 8-4 during the month.

For the season, Kanitz has 564 assists.
