Lammers, who missed all of the spring season with an injury, beat Loyola's Ann Vrdolyak on the first playoff hole. She chipped it within 12 feet on her third shot of the par-5 hole and won the title with a birdie putt from there. She is the second Titan in school history to win medalist honors at the league tournament.
Lammers won two events and finished runner-up in another for the Titans during the fall season.
“It was really amazing,” coach Terri Anthony-Ryan told DetroitTitans.com. “She got to 17 and was two strokes behind, but she had a nice par, while Ann had a double. I told her that she was even on 18 and she had another par and got ready for the playoff.”
Detroit had a three-day total of 1,009, tying Loyola for second place.
