Latwan Wesley's game-high 25 points, including the night's final basket with 16 seconds remaining, helped the Lincoln High School boys basketball team beat Ypsilanti 68-65 on Thursday night.

Ypsilanti missed a last-second chance to tie, sealing the Railsplitters' home-court win in front of a senior night crowd of about 500.

"I'm proud of my seniors to leave on a positive note," Lincoln coach Mike Foley said. "We treated this game as if it were a practice for the playoffs. It says a lot to beat such an aggressive team."

Ypsilanti split a pair of free throws with less than 30 seconds left to cut Lincoln's lead to 66-65 before Wesley wrapped up his big night by answering on the other end.
