“We expect high scoring all season,” Gabriel Richard coach Pete Schoch said. “We are very up tempo. It’s going to be a fun year, and we’ll see what happens.”

East Jackson jumped out to a 14-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, and led 33-25 at halftime.
“We like having nine guys score,” East Jackson coach Greg Zeller said. “Lots of scoring from a lot of different guys. It was ugly, but we’re 2-0 so something is working.”

Adrian Harrison led Ypsilanti Arbor Preparatory with 14 points, and Keyshaun Morris had eight points and 10 rebounds.
Bradford led 24-22 after the first, but lengthened the lead to 47-30 at the half.
“We have five freshman and two sophomores,” Arbor Prep coach Don Spencer said. “They’re extremely talented, but fatigue factors in when seniors are pounding on you.”
