Al Ritt was a class act. I went to school and played baseball with his grandson. Al was always there at practices to give his advice and tell old stories. Also in later years I enjoyed talking with him at the hudson mills golf course where he worked. I think a lot of people have forgotten about his contributions to the beginnings of Dexter Sports along with Sparky Clark, and that is too bad. Dexter will miss him
