Defense leads Huron boys to blowout of Monroe

Suffocating. Swarming. Attacking.

All three basketball clichés could be used to describe the Huron High School basketball team’s defense during the River Rats’ 66-37 victory over Monroe. But there’s one other word that describes it much better:

Chaotic.

“We’ve got guys who are long, and we’re quick,” Huron coach Waleed Samaha said. “So that makes the recipe even sweeter when you’re trying to run a pressing and trapping defense.
