Casey Baker of Ann Arbor shot a final-round 65 at Flint Golf Club on Tuesday to capture the Golf Association of Michigan Championship.

Baker, who won the same championship in 2005, also is the vice president of golf shop operations at Miles of Golf in Ypsilanti.

Baker went bogey-free Tuesday and shot 70-73-65-208 to beat Willie Mack III by a stroke. Joseph Juszczyk of the Dearborn Country Club was third with a three-day total of 210.

"I was up and down a lot and my putting was really good today," Baker said in a release from the GAM. "That had a lot to do with it. I sunk a lot of six- and eight-foot putts today, and that was key."
