Former NBA scoring champ Tracy McGrady to join Pistons; Tigers ugly in 8-0 loss and more
Tracy McGrady, the NBA's leading scorer in the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons, will sign a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons, MLive.com reported.
McGrady's deal will be for $1.3 million, a source told MLive.com. McGrady, a shooting guard and small forward, joins a team with plenty of depth at that position.
MLive.com's Chris Iott says McGrady is a low-risk, potentially high-return player.
