After finishing his Michigan career last season, Glendening made his AHL debut with a three-game stint with Providence. In June, he signed a one-year contract with the Griffins, the Detroit Red Wings' AHL affiliate.
Glendening started the season with the ECHL's Toledo Walleye, where he leads the team with 14 goals through 27 games. His 21 points are third on the team.
Glendening played his first professional contest, in an exhibition contest in early October at Yost Ice Arena.
“I’ve had to stick with the things I’ve been doing. Working hard, being physical being smart with the puck,” Glendening said at the time. “But I’ve had to take steps in the right direction in terms of being a better skater, being better with the puck, being smarter.”
