Former champion Matt Paterini leads after first day of Ann Arbor city golf championship

Two-time former champion Matt Paterini holds a 2-shot lead after the first round of the City of Ann Arbor men's amateur golf championship. The Saline native shot a 69 on Friday at Leslie Park Golf Course.

Ann Arbor’s Brian Mraunac and Saline’s Peter Wood each shot 71 while defending champion Peter Spittler is eight shots behind after shooting a 77.
