Eastern Michigan's Tavelyn James is honorable mention All-America

Eastern Michigan senior guard Tavelyn James was selected to the WBCA Division I Coaches' All-America honorable mention team.

James, the third EMU player to earn WBCA All-American accolades, ranked third in the nation with a 23.8-point scoring average and was in the top 50 in free-throw percentage (19th) and 3-point field goals made (42nd).

She finished her EMU career as the school's all-time scoring leader and ranked second in MAC history with 2,470 career points. She also holds the EMU career records for 3-point field goals made (291) and games played (129). James ranks third in conference history in field goals made, 3-point field goals made and scoring average.
