Eastern Michigan tight end Garrett Hoskins selected for Casino Del Sol All-Star game

Eastern Michigan senior tight end Garrett Hoskins has been selected to play in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star game Jan. 11, the school announced Wednesday.

The second-year showcase event will be held at Kino Stadium in Tucson, Arizona, and be broadcast on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.com.

Hoskins led EMU in receiving with 38 catches for 542 yards and three scores. He finished his career with more than 1,100 receiving yards.

The Grand Rapids native earned second-team All-MAC honors and was the John Mackey Tight End of the Week Oct. 24.

Last year’s Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game rosters included six NFL draft picks and 61 more players who received NFL training camp invitations.
