wow 4 wins in the MAC get's you coach of the year. I guess the media forgot the last half of the MAC season. 1-3. those 3 losses were there for the taking. i thought the season ended on a sour note. who's to blame for that? Think about it who else was out there? Now that the savior has been born can you say Illinois? Ron English will be on the first eagle out of town if he get's the chance.

Obviously the coaching ranks in the MAC are pretty bad when a 6-6 record gets you coach of the year. Luckily the MAC News Media doesn't have a say for the Big10, otherwise Luke Fickell might have won it.

I'm happy for coach english. But 6-6 should not get anybody coach of the year, even if it is the MAC.

I was glad to see EMU football on the upswing this year, especially after their recent struggles. Congrats to Ron English -- he seems like a good person, and I wish him and the EMU program continued success.

Congrats to Coach English. It's good to see this coach getting such recognition. I certainly hope he'll have more and greater success in coming seasons.
