Eastern Michigan baseball wins fifth straight
The Eastern Michigan baseball team beat Cleveland State 6-2 on Tuesday. It was the Eagles' fifth straight win and puts them above .500 for the first time since winning their season opener.
EMUEagles.com reports that freshman starter Steve Weber needed just 59 pitches to get through 5 1/3 innings at Oestrike Stadium and Neil Butara, one of four relievers to appear in the game, threw just six pitches to earn the win.
Zack Leonard was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs for the Eagles (19-18, 8-4 MAC).
