Fans wanting an all access look at the inner workings of a Division I athletics program might as well stop looking to Schembechler Hall.

That's just not how the Michigan football program operates.

Down the road at Eastern Michigan University, however, fans will be given a behind-the-scenes look at how Ron English's football and Rob Murphy's basketball programs operate on a new Fox Sports Detroit television program, "Eastern Michigan All-Access" which debuts Monday night at 7 p.m. (Comcast, channel 32)

“This is an outstanding opportunity for our fans throughout Michigan and parts of the nation to get a behind-the-scenes perspective into our athletics programs,” said Eastern Michigan athletic director Derrick Gragg. “We will showcase student-athletes who are driven to success on the field and in the classroom. This is not your typical coaches show, but a professionally produced program that will also feature the wonderful campus experience we provide for all students.”

The inside look into Eastern Michigan will follow the football team for the first five episodes of the 10-episode series with shows on Aug. 27, Sept. 17, Oct. 15, 29 and Nov. 19. The final five episodes will move indoors for a look at the Eagles' basketball program.

Included in the first show are interviews with head coach Ron English, highlights of the fall camp and previews of both the offensive and defensive units. All-access video will also be showcased, with video and audio from inside the Eagles' huddle.

Eastern kicks off its season on Thursday at 7 p.m. against Mid American Conference rival, Ball State.
