Dave Shand's lawsuit against Bill Martin thrown out of court
Not all the news today is bad for Bill Martin.
A judge threw out a lawsuit filed against the Michigan athletic director by Dave Shand, a former sports radio host who alleged Martin had pressured WTKA-AM 1050 to terminate his employment.
Nick Roumel, Shand's attorney, told MVictors.com that some of his evidence was hearsay that the judge ultimately ruled inadmissible. Greg Dooley at MVictors.com has the full story here.
That wasn't the only recent legal news for Martin, who was accused of pushing and shoving two student employees in separate incidents at Michigan Stadium this fall.Â

My kid played hockey with Dave's son and although Dave was not the coach he gave a lot of the pre-game speeches. They were great even if he did have to bite his cheek to avoid some F-bombs!

David, David, David - you were not terminated, you were just shoved aside. Perfectly legal.

I wonder where the judges seats were last year and where they will be next year? Was this a 45 or 50 yard line judicial decision?
