Chad Henne needs to step up as a leader in Miami; Tom Brady under pressure and more links
Associated Press
Former Michigan quarterback Chad Henne has to be more than a quarterback this year, Armando Salguero writes in a column for the Miami Herald. He has to be a leader for the Miami Dolphins, he says.
So far, No. 2 quarterback Chad Pennington remains the vocal leader, Salguero writes.
From his column:
It caused a double-take Saturday afternoon when a quarterback gathered the offense after an unsatisfactory performance during the team's first scrimmage and, in fiery tones, gave everyone a piece of his mind. It wasn't the remonstrating and admonishing that drew attention, rather it was the source of the reproof that seemed most interesting. The fact it was Pennington imploring his teammates to do better while Henne was among those taking it all in caused folks to take notice.
