Progressive Field in Cleveland is all about baseball now, but it appears it will be the site of a Michigan-Ohio State outdoor hockey game in January.

Associated Press

Details for a Michigan vs. Ohio State outdoor hockey game in Cleveland are expected to be released today in a 2 p.m. press conference at Progressive Field, USCHO.com reports.

The game is likely to be played on Jan. 15, 2012, USCHO.com said.

Outdoor games are becoming a staple for the Michigan hockey team, which set a world record for hockey attendance when 104,173 watched the Big Chill at the Big House in December. The Wolverines also faced Wisconsin in 2010 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis. Michigan and Michigan State played in an outdoor game in 2001.
