Great Lake Chinese Seafood Restaurant specializes in dim sum, Hong Kong-style live seafood. Banquet room available. "Dim sum" can be poetically translated as "touch of the heart." Or, you might say, "order to your heart's content," and with dim sum, most everyone should be able to find something that meets their heart's (and stomach's) desire. (Except maybe vegetarians.) Dim Sum is the Chinese analogue to Spanish tapas: a variety of small plates meant to be shared with family and friends. In fact, we recommend a group of at least four people so you can try a variety of dishes. Great Lake Chinese Seafood serves dim sum every day of the week at lunch, but it's best on weekends because servers bring additional items out on carts that aren't on the menu. If you're a beginner, start with one plate of an item and cut them up for everyone until you know your favorites. And try to get a range of items - steamed vs. fried vs. baked, dumplings, rice rolls, etc.
