16 Nickels Arcade, Ann Arbor
A departure from the many coffee chains, Comet Coffee is a different type of coffee house. Located in the historic Nickels Arcade, Comet Coffee offers coffee, espresso and tea, including soy drinks. Coffee is offered in one size only and each cup is made to order, freshly ground and brewed. There are four to five types of coffees offered daily and you can have it prepared one of three ways: pour-over drip, French press or vacuum pot. Locally made pastries are also available. Its devotees swear this is the best coffee in Ann Arbor.
