This restaurant, which opened at the end of July 2009, is located in the heart of the University of Michigan campus area. The focus is Japanese cuisine. Ayaka offers roughly 50 different types of regular sushi rolls, as well as special rolls with enticing names like volcano, red dragon and fire crunch, as well as sushi/sashimi combinations. Udon noodle and teriyaki dishes, as well as bento boxes that provide a variety of dishes. are also on the menu. There are enough seats for a total of 30 to dine in; carry-out is also available.
