Brando would like to be your lap dog. Stop by HSHV and meet him today.

Lap dog alert! Meet Brando, a Chihuahua mix, and handsome 9-year-old small dog, looking for his forever home.

Brando is available for adoption at the Humane Society of Huron Valley. He has been spending much of his time lately at our Adoption Desk and is quickly becoming a staff favorite due to his snuggly personality. He honestly wants to cuddle on our laps all day.

Brando was walking on the streets without a home when he came to our shelter. He is now happy to be warm and fed, but is still a little cautious about all the new changes in his life. Once he is comfortable, however, Brando is very friendly and seeks attention from his human friends. He loves to go for walks and will shake his tail very excitedly when you grab his leash!

Because Brando is unsure of new people handling him, a home with children older than 12 would be ideal for this wonderful guy. Brando is very ready to nap quietly in your lap in his forever home, so please stop by and meet this sweetie at HSHV today.

HSHV is open daily at 11 a.m. for adoptions. All pets available for adoption are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, medically and behaviorally evaluated, and they have a microchip ID all included in their low adoption fee. Please make adoption your first option.

The Humane Society of Huron Valley, located in Ann Arbor, was awarded the “Best Large Animal Shelter in Michigan" by the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance, for the second time in a row this year, for saving the most lives. HSHV is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and relies solely on donations from businesses and individuals to support our community programs.

HSHV is not affiliated with the Michigan Humane Society or any other humane organization. The mission of HSHV is to promote responsible and compassionate care of all animals in our community. Please like us on Facebook!
