This time of year brings out a different side of some pets, some funny, some festive — others mischievous!
This weeks' Friday Pet Blogging features some furry critters wearing their Santa hats, reindeer antlers and others opening their gifts.
With the holiday season in full swing, pets can be especially charming and cute. Outdoor playtime in snow, hiding underneath the tree, "helping out" with wrapping gifts; it's all fun!
With the theme "holiday pets" from now until the end of the month on our Friday Pet Blogging feature, we invite you to email a photo of your critter looking its most festive (or getting into mischief) to ppsa2mi@gmail.com, any time during the week.
Please include the animal's name, age and city or township of residence in your email, and photos should be 600 pixels wide and in .jpg format.
We put the week's photos into a slideshow, publish and promote each Friday here in the Pets section.

3 Santa dogs by a long shot, though all very adorable!

Indeed! I have trouble with two - but three? That's a feat! I love seeing pets open gifts, too. I have to say, I have a soft spot for pugs and shelties, too. Who an I kidding? I have soft spots for all animals!

I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, but that photo of the three dogs in Santa hats is killing me with the cute!
