Meet a gentle and affectionate cat, Milo, the AnnArbor.com pet of the week
Milo came to HSHV back in February and has been waiting patiently for a home of his own ever since. We’ve learned so much about this gentle cat, including the fact that when there is too much noise or hustle and bustle, he will hide under blankets and stick his nose out. To give Milo a break from the very busy shelter, he was placed into a caring HSHV foster home. His personality has blossomed and it is our hope that Milo can be adopted right from his foster home since he is doing well there.
Milo’s wonderful foster mom just updated us this week. She tells us “Milo is doing great. He gets along extremely well with our cat Trixi (in the picture). He likes to play with the laser pointer light, and loves to cuddle with us. We’ve never had a cat who gives so many gentle head bumps! His white paws look like he stepped in paint, and his big round eyes sometimes look as if he still doesn't believe that he can stay here with us.”
If you are looking for an affectionate lap cat and a cat that can get along with another cat, please email fosters@hshv.org, or call 734-661-3511 and we would be thrilled to set-up an adoption meeting so you can meet Mr. Milo.
HSHV is open daily at 11 a.m. for adoptions. All pets available for adoption are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, medically and behaviorally evaluated, and they have a microchip ID all included in their low adoption fee. Please make adoption your first option.

Milo's backstory breaks my heart. What is WRONG with people?
