Following a spring moon around Ann Arbor at night

A full moon rises behind West Hall.

I tried to make some interesting compositions, and managed to add the feel of spring in a few of them. Lately I've been shooting lots of window scenes, reflections, etc., so this gave me a little motivation boost.
The challenge is to make an interesting juxtaposition and to create a mood. The scenes are out there just waiting to be found and captured. It's a little like fishing; I've found you have to put your time in and then be ready when the moments arrive. In this Ann Arbor Nocturne project, I'm looking forward to capturing some rain and lightning scenes and who knows what else. And I'm glad to have you readers along for the ride.

Spring flowers begin to bloom.

A full moon rises over Ann Arbor. Hunt Park neighborhood resident John Lloyd assisted in spotting the moon earlier when it was barely above the horizon.

Good shots, Mark, I like the first image of the moon behind the West Hall dome.
