Moon over State 1/1000
This week, I am excited to share volume 1 of my "Ann Arbor in 1000 images" editorial.
I wanted to take a moment to say Thank you to the readers whom have taken time out of their day to e-mail suggestions for this project.
We shall start our journey in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor on the corner of Liberty and State. It is a crisp February evening at the State Theatre as its bright lights shine. Who could refuse the State Theatre to be one of Ann Arbor's tried and true land marks?

An evening stroll down Liberty 2/1000
Next, we take a stroll down Liberty passing couples holding hands, patrons visiting the local Starbucks, and contemplate the surrounding unique local business which thrive in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor.

Orchid Lane Fair Trade Clothing 3/1000
A unique store called Orchid Lane catches my eye with its wool fingerless gloves on display just outside its entrance. It reminds me how I could use a pair on cold February days typing away on my computer.
We proceed into the store where they offer Fair Trade Womens Clothing and Jewelery. I wait patiently for my friends to complete their patronage at the store while playing with some of the world music instruments on the shelves.

A new beginning 4/1000
Last but not least for the evening, I witness a new beginning as snow from this past weeks storm slides down my windshield while waiting to warm up for the drive home.
Where will the next adventure take me? I don't know. E-mail me your best suggestions of places, businesses, people, and things happening in Ann Arbor to photograph. Who knows, you just might end up representing your home town as the journey continues.
