Ypsilanti Courier: Ypsilanti's Corner Brewery gets OK to add solar panels
Ypsilanti's Historic District Commission authorized the Corner Brewery to add solar panels to the building at 720 Norris St., according to the Ypsilanti Courier.
The approval is part of an expansion process for the brewery, owned by Matt and Rene Greff, who formed the plans in late 2010.
The couple planned to add a small accessory building to the property, north of Depot Town, along with replacing windows, pursuing a "green" retrofit, and adding a new bottling line.
“We’re really excited about our project and feel confident that we will be able to work with (the city) to figure out how to make it all happen,” Rene Greff told AnnArbor.com in March.
